Congratulations Lauren!

I would like to give a big congratulations to one of my students, Lauren Kroeger, who was accepted to MIT! Below is a little bit about Lauren written by Andy Arregquin of the Appeal Democrat.

“Lauren Kroeger’s list of accolades are both long and distinguished — and are not confined to what she does on the track.
With a class-leading 4.52 grade point average and a penchant for learning, the River Valley High senior set big goals for herself upon entering high school and has dedicated herself in the classroom while also excelling for the Falcons’ track and field team.
She’s a student first, and her hard work has gained her acceptance into one the world’s most prestigious universities.
In a ceremony in River Valley’s library on Wednesday, Kroeger made it official by putting pen to paper and signing a National Letter of Intent to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass., next year.”
